Sesekali menyantap sambal ketika bulan ramadhan memang menjadi tantangan tersendiri, tetapi sambal bisa menjadi pemicu untuk menambah selera makan. Karena biasanya ketika berpuasa, seringkali kita merasa kurang bernafsu menyantap hidangan nasi yang telah tersedia.

Termasuk di keluarga saya, ketika berbuka yang terjadi segala jenis makanan yang bersantan sudah terhidang di meja. Terkadang mulai dari takjil sampai hidangan utama pun semuanya menu dengan bahan utama memakai santan di dalamnya.

Boleh lah ya sekali-sekali menyantap sambal tomat bersama lalapan sayuran dan ikan goreng bumbu rempah, hmmm... sepertinya cocok membakar sedikit kalori yang di timbun oleh santan tadi. Rasa pedas sambal tomatnya yang nendang membuat nafsu makan bertambah. Yup, ayo bunda berikut resep sambal tomat andalan saya :D

Berikut bahan dan cara membuatnya
Bahan-bahan :
  • 100 gram cabe merah
  • 30 gram ikan teri
  • 4 buah tomat
  • 1 sdm terasi
  • 3 buah bawang merah
  • 2 sdt garam halus
  • 3 sdt gula pasir
  • 1 sdm gula merah
  • Minyak sayur secukupnya untuk menumis

Cara Membuatnya :
  1. Giling 100 gram cabe merah hingga benar-benar halus
  2. Iris tipis 3 buah bawang merah dan potong dadu kecil-kecil 4 buah tomat, sisihkan
  3. Panaskan minyak sayur di dalam wajan, lalu goreng 30 gram ikan teri hingga kuning kecoklatan, angkat
  4. Masukkan cabe merah yang sudah di giling halus, tumis hingga harum
  5. Tambahkan 1 sdm terasi, bawang merah dan tomat yang sudah di siapkan sebelumnya lalu aduk hingga rata
  6. Tambahkan 2 sdt garam halus, 3 sdt gula pasir dan 1 sdm gula merah, Aduk rata
  7. Masukkan ikan teri yang sudah di goreng tadi lalu di aduk kembali
  8. Tunggu beberapa menit hingga air tomat sedikit menyusut dan sambal terlihat berminyak, matikan kompor lalu angkat 

Ketika menumis sambal tomat ini usahakan di cicip sedikit demi sedikit dahulu ketika akan menambahkan garam, karena saya menggunakan ikan teri yang juga dominan rasa asinnya.
Menyantap sambal tomat dapat di temani dengan lalapan sayuran rebus atau kukus seperti daun singkong muda, kacang panjang, labu siam, daun kemangi, kangkung dan lain-lain. Biasanya enak juga ditemani lauk pauk seperti ikan goreng, tempe atau tahu goreng. So, Enjoy Your Cooking Mom :D
